Business Etiquette Dinner prepares students for business-social events

The Penn State Berks Business Department and the Office of Career Services will host the annual Business Etiquette Dinner for Business students on Monday, March 19 2012, from 5-7 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room. Eighty students have registered for the event and are expected to participate.

The dinner is an interactive dining experience that prepares students for a job interview lunch or dinner, in addition to the business-social events they will encounter on the job. Lynne Breil, founder of The Professional Edge, will lead the presentation. Various dining skills will be discussed, from how to master eating those difficult foods to the appropriate time to talk “business” during a business meal.

Breil has conveyed her message of personal refinement and etiquette to organizations nationwide for nearly 20 years. She is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and member of the International Federation for Professional Speakers. Previously, she was named one of “Pennsylvania’s Best 50 Women in Business.”
