Chancellor Speece to speak in Arts & Lecture Series

Chancellor Susan Phillips Speece will provide humorous reflection in her presentation titled You Think What? on January 19, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Perkins Student Center Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

With humor and wit as her devices, Speece will share her observations over the last 44 years teaching and acting as an administrator in public schools and in higher education. Her experiences living in various states across the country, from Indiana to California to Pennsylvania, have taught her that both humor and a broader understanding of the world are regional attributes. She has learned a great deal about human nature and “things that cause one to just shake one’s head.”
