College offers smoking cessation program

Penn State Berks is helping faculty and staff to "kick the habit" with a tobacco cessation program, starting on September 22, 2010. The 30-minute coaching sessions will be in the Thun Library, room 119, on Wednesdays from 3:00–5:00 pm.
The goal of the program is to help participants develop a plan to quit smoking by changing their behaviors and habits, and learning to cope with urges. Cheryl Yates, MA, Master Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist at the Reading Hospital, will assist participants in gaining the skills necessary to break a smoking addiction.
